Welcome to Step Up Training and Care

Health and Social Care Training
With our well-equipped classroom in Redditch, we are ideally suited to provide training to care organisations and learners based in and around Birmingham, Solihull, the Black Country, the West Midlands and all of Worcestershire.

Our Awards, Certificates, and Diplomas are externally accredited by Highfield Qualifications awarding body and ICQ awarding body and are covered under the Regulated Qualification Framework - so you can be assured they are genuine qualifications, recognised in the Health and Social Care sector, and beyond. Largely, these qualifications are undertaken remotely using a variety of techniques, such as electronic portfolio completion and telephone assessment although it's always nice to know we're not far away if you need us.

We run a number of one-day short courses along with Statutory and Mandatory Inductions which generally run over a 2-day period. These can be delivered from our classroom, or at your care setting.

You are invited to have a look round our website where you will find information on our qualifications and training course options that will help you choose the most appropriate course or qualification to suit your needs or career aspirations. However, we realise that time is a precious resource, so you are also invited to email us and we will get back to you, either by email or phone at a time that's convenient for you.

Featured Course - ICQ Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care
This popular course is delivered predominantly as remote learning although locally based learners who find this difficult may be able to take advantage of classroom face-to-face sessions at our Redditch office.

The course is designed for people who have been working in the care sector for a while, where employers see the potential for them to work as lead adult care workers and lead personal assistants. The course covers certain 'mandatory' topics, and a wide range of optional units. We will be happy to discuss the options available with you, or your care staff.

Whilst there is no fixed 'time limit' for this course, we would anticipate that learners complete it in no more than twelve months. You can find more details about the course on our Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care web page - please contact us directly to discuss course availability and our latest offers.
